MARIA DO ROSÁRIO ZINCKE DOS REIS, born in 1963, in Lisbon. Has a Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Legal Sciences, since 1985, from the Faculty of Law by University of Lisbon, lawyer since 1987, with experience in issues related to the Rights of People with disabilities and the elderly. Guest lecturer in the University of Aveiro and postgraduate professor in the course “Legal Approaches in Geriatric Intervention” (2014-2017). Member of the Board of Alzheimer Portugal (Chairman of the Board from 2001 to 2012, currently Board Member). Honorary Treasurer of Alzheimer Europe since 2008. President of Health in Dialogue Platform since 2012. Regular attendance in the Alzheimer Europe Annual Conferences and in several european projects led by Alzheimer Europe, namely: EUROCODE - European Collaboration on Dementia; LAWNET – Project of collection and systematization of legislation about Rights of people with disabilities; ETHICAL ISSUES AND DEMENTIA – Project of collection, systematization and recommendations about ethical issues related to people with dementia. Member of CEIC –Ethics Committee for Scientific Research, since 2017. Member of the Strategical Council of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Lisbon (since 2019).
